Alex is an experienced Cardiac Sonographer who has been with NT Cardiac for many years.  He has worked across the Northern Territory and other states before moving into his current role as the Chief Cardiac Physiologist (Echocardiography).

Having completed a Bachelor of Health Science at University of Adelaide, Alex went on to complete a Graduate Diploma of Cardiac Ultrasound (QUT).

He began his career at Flinders Medical Centre in Adelaide before moving to work with NT Cardiac.

Alex has been involved in training and screening programs in Australia as well as the Solomon Islands and Kiribati.

With over 10 years of experience in all aspects of non-invasive cardiac testing, his special interest is in valvular heart disease and in particular rheumatic heart disease.
